Kithairon Oros est une montagne au nord-ouest d'Athènes avec une route en cul-de-sac à flanc de falaise sur la mer. Aucun renseignement précis sur la surface de cette route ni l'emplacement sommital.

CHOICE'S DIFFICULTY - DIFFICULTE DE CHOIX

Un site incontournable a été oublié dans les environs. Pas très élevé, c'est un site touristique remarquable. Il s'agit de la citadelle de Mycène avec son ancien théâtre, son acropole et une belle route qui quitte la ville vers un parking juste sous la porte du lion.

A must have been forgotten in the suburbs. Not very high, but it's a remarkable spotlight. Its name is the Mycenae Citadel with an old theater, an acropola and a beautiful road leaving Mycenae to the car-park just down the lion gate.

Les altitudes emblent indiquer qu'on quitte Mykinai (ou Mycène) à 120m et qu'environ 1200m plus loin, on aboutit au parking sans doute aux environs de 231m, l'acropole culminant à 278m.

The heights seem to tell that the village Mykinai (Mykenae) is 120m over the sea, the car-park, 1200m further, is about 231m high, and the top of the acropola is at an altitude of 278m.
