PARNASSOS

On perçoit le long de cette verticale au centre du massif de Parnassos trois stations sur la droite. La plus haute est centrale et à travers des lacets bien visibles, atteint le nom de Fterolaka.

DESCRIPTION

La station de ski du Parnassos est située à une altitude variant d 1600m à 2300m. Fterolaka est située à environ 1800m. Une décision a été prise par le ministère des routes de la région pour mettre le mieux possible en évidence les routes mettant en liaison la vallée aux stations de ski. Ces stations ont été construites à partir de 1975-1976 quand Fterolaka a grandi. Par après Kellaria grandit également et les deux furent reliées. Ce réseau de stations est le préféré des athéniens, car seulement 180km les sépare de celles-ci. Les infrastructures offrent un grand nombre de services aux visiteurs, dont tune route bien asphaltée jusqu'aux sommets.

Parnassos Ski Center is located at an altitude of 1600 m. up to 2300 m. Fterolaka summit is located at an altitude of about 1800 m. A decision has been taken for the repair of the road network that leads to Parnassos Ski Center on the spots where there is a problem and new information boards will be installed. The construction of Parnassos Ski Center started in 1975 and was completed in 1976, when Fterolakka facilities began operating. In 1981 the construction of Kellaria facilities were also completed, whereas in 1987-1988, the Hermes lift, which links Fterolakka to Kellaria, was put into operation. Parnassos mountain is a leading ski center preferred by Athenians - since it is only 180 km. away from the city of Athens. At the same time, its infrastructure allows a comfortable service for a very high number of visitors/skiers, including a good asphalted road leading to it.
