Prionia est à gauche en bas, au bout de la route blanche. On perçoit que l'ascension prend 700m en 10km, puis se traîne durant 10 autres bornes jusqu'à Prionia.

We see very well the end of the surfaced road at the car-park - on voit très bien l'arrêt de la route bitumée au parking

DESCRIPTION

Par rapport à l'intention de départ qui était d'installer dans notre liste l'incontournable mont Olympe à plus de 2500m, le petit parking de Prionia, extrémité réelle et effective de la route asphaltée quittant Lichotoron pour ce mont est une déception. De plus il ne profite que d'une assez pauvre taverne, rustique ancien moulin, au confort rudimentaire. Il est toutefois déjà à 1100m et atteint en environ 18km un lieu privilégié pour les randonneurs décidant de s'attaquer à pied aux pentes d'Olympos le terrible.

Against the first wish to include in the listing the must called "Olympos", more than 2500m high, the small car-park of Prionia, real end of the surfaced road leaving Lichotoron to the top of Mount Olympos, is a little sad. More, it has only a small pub in an old rustic mill, without any comfort. Otherwise, It is located at an altitude of 1100m after a 18km climb and is the wellknown start for the trekkers who want to reach the top of the god Olympos.

C'est à l'évidence à la fin de la route asphaltée au parking Prionia. La suite ne semble pas être une route muletière mais des chemins muletiers.

It is obviously at the end of the asphalted road at the car-park Prionia. What is following the car-park seems to be more gravel paths than gravel roads.
